Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest nears

16 Aug

RHINEBECK, NY — A good way to say so-long to summer — the real end, not the commercially-hyped back-to-school-sales one — is being planned for the Dutchess County Fairgrounds.

It’s the 9th annual Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest, scheduled for the weekend of September 11-12. In addition to wines from every appellation in the state, the event will feature food from several local restaurants, food products from artisanal producers throughout the Hudson Valley, craft booths, demonstrations and tastings of all sorts.

Tickets are on sale at $25 for a one-day tasting pass or $10 for non-tasting. Weekend passes are $45 for tasting or $20 for non-tasting. Prices will increase when purchased at the gate.
