GREENPORT, LONG ISLAND, NY — Put together the North Fork’s hottest new restaurant and one of its busiest vineyards and you’ll get an inaugural wine dinner sure to set off a frenzy of reservation-seeking.
Noah Schwartz, who held forth in the kitchen at the iconic Seafood Barge in Southold until it closed last Thanksgiving, this past winter opened his own eponymous restaurant specializing in tapas and small-plate entrees to excellent press reviews and booming summer business.
On Monday, October 4, Schwartz and the folks from Peconic Bay Winery will team up at his restaurant for the first-ever wine dinner there. Attendees will be served a six-course lineup of small plates, all paired with Peconic Bay wines. Reservations are available by calling (631) 734-7361, ext. 105.
Noah’s is located at 136 Front Street, in what had been the Frisky Oyster Bar until he purchased it from Dennis McDermott in December.
