NEW YORK — The success several years ago of the music CD “A Night at Rao’s” certainly didn’t harm the mystique of the iconic East Harlem restaurant (motto:” We’re So Popular You Can’t Come In”). But, were you aware another New York City food and drink icon has its own music CD available now?

It’s from the Carnegie Deli on 7th Avenue, not as rogueish and edgy as Rao’s, but an establishment with its own mystique as well. Go here for an audio taste of “What a Pickle! The World’s Greatest Deli Musical.”

Check out my New York Drinks Events Calendar, the most comprehensive you’ll find anywhere.
