NEW YORK — Cash-strapped travel buffs might like this opportunity for a taste of the rest of the world: Get a passport for the 3rd annual New York Craft Brew Week.
The event is set for Friday, September 24, through Sunday, October 3.
The process is simple, and a nice change for beer lovers who have gotten into a rut. Just pick up a Passport, take it to any of the 100 or so participating bars and restaurants, choose a beer from their featured list, give the bartender $3 plus tip and the perforated tab for that bar from your Passport. Then sip and enjoy.
Note: If you’re having more than one beer at that particular spot, they’re at the regular price. The idea of the promotion is to get you to try more establishments.
