NEW YORK — OK, it’s official. It’s autumn.

No matter what the calendar says, however, some people want to keep those lazy, hazy drinking spots going year-round. But, finding which ones don’t shut down just because the foliage is turning color can be quite a chore.

That’s where Grub Street comes in handy. In a posting called “40 Outdoor Drinking Spots Where Summer Lives On,” the daily food-and-drink update from New Yorker magazine provides a list of what popular seasonal spots have closed, when others plan to, and which ones are year-round. Just go here for the info.

Check out my New York Drinks Events Calendar, the most comprehensive you’ll find anywhere.
