The college’s Professional Development and Continuing Education Office is partnering with the Center to offer three different classes for the public:
• Thursday, September 30 — Wine 101.
• Thursday, October 14 — Wine & Food Flavor Pairing.
• Thursday, October 28 — How to Taste Like an Expert.
All classes run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Center, 800 South Main Street. The cost per class is $40. Reservations: (585) 394-7070.
Finger Lakes CC offers an associate in applied science (AAS) degree in viticulture and wine technology. It is intended to prepare students for a career in viticulture, vineyard management, winery operations, tasting room management and wine sales.
