HUDSON, NY — Grape festivals tend to be held at vineyards. What is billed as “The First Annual Grape Festival” in this Columbia County seat will be held in a restaurant. Ca’Mea Ristorante Italiano, to be precise.
Ca’Mea is located in the heart of the city’s bustling antiques-and-restaurants district. The event, which grammatically can’t properly be called “first annual” until there is a second such, is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 26. The lineup is a bit broader than most wine dinners you’ll come across, thus this notice of it.
Quintessential Wines will serve 16 wines from the U.S., Australia, Italy, Spain, Chile, Argentina, Portugal and South Africa. They will be paired with pass-around food prepared by Executive Chef Max Cenci.
Seating is limited. Reservations, priced at $45 per person, may be made by calling (518) 822-0005. Ca’Mea is located at 333-335 Warren Street. The facility includes the Innn at Ca’Mea, which is now booking rooms for attendees wishing to stay overnight.
