The new venue is several miles south of its former location, on a hill overlooking Seneca Lake on Route 414, just north of Finger Lakes Distilling. The building was purchased from Tom Fronaphel, who designed Damaini’s original wine labels.
The facility will offer tasting stations on two floors. The tasting room’s official opening will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on November 5. Live music, hors d’oeuvres and wine sampling will be offered. The winery itself is located at 4704 Route 414 in Burdett, Schuyler County.
In other Damiani news, partners Phil Davis and Lou Damiani have taken on an additional partner, Glenn Allen of Ithaca, who has been named business manager.
