More than 59 craft brewers and more than 100 beers will be available on premises, a lineup promoters promise will be larger than in prior years. The 60,000-square-foot exhibit hall will include a beer garden with a menu of beer-infused fare and giveaways from beer garden sponsors. The entire middle of the expo hall will be open with cocktail tables for patrons to use. Although no tickets will be sold beyond an expected initial sellout, everyone who purchases a ticket will be admitted because organizers have limited the number to be sold.
The event will be held at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 1255 Hempstead Turnpike. The sessions are as follows:
• Session I: 12:30 to 4 p.m. (doors open at noon)
• Session II: 5:30 to 9 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.)
Admission includes a 6-ounce souvenir tasting glass, and two-ounce samples from any exhibiting brewery. There also will be water and food available for purchase, demonstrations and other programs. Tickets are now on sale at $45 each online, or $12 for designated drivers.
