10 Feb

GLENS FALLS, NY — The 2nd annual Glens Falls Brewfest has at least 25 confirmed breweries lined up for the Saturday, April 2, event. Organizers expect another dozen or so to be added.

The event, to be held at the Queensbury Hotel downtown, will offer complimentary finger foods, a souvenir glass, and tasting from all the breweries for the price of admission — $30 in advance, $35 at the door. The hotel also will be offering foods at an additional charge. Designated drivers will be admitted for $10 and be offered water and soda. Proceeds will benefit the Adirondack Theatre Festival and the Feeder Canal Alliance. The latter organization is a not-for-profit created in 1987 to preserve, promote and maintain the historic Feeder Canal which provides water from the Hudson River to the Champlain Canal.
