The New York State Liquor Authority has announced revocation of the license for his college-crowd establishment at 14 Margaret Street after 11 alleged violations of state liquor law were identified in September. Dubrey said he will contest the decision.
One violation cited was for inadequate supervission over the conduct of the business. The other 10 were for allegedly selling or giving away alcoholic beverages to people under the age of 21.
Krazy Horse Saloon, which opened in 2006, can remain open but cannot have alcohol on the premises. Dubrey cannot apply for another liquor license for two years, although he can appeal the decision or take the case to court.
