• French cheese and hard cider tasting

13 Jul

NEW YORK — The noted cheese buyer Martin Johnson, owner of Joy of Cheese, will offer a class with tastings of prime French cheeses and hard ciders at the 92nd Street Y on Thurday.

Attendees will explore a line of alcoholic ciders ranging from dry to sweet and with geographic backgrounds from Upstate New York to England to the Basque provinces, matching each cider with an appropriately summery cheese.

The 92Y Uptown is located at Lexington Avenue and 92nd Street. Reservations for the class, at $42 per person, may be made online
