06 Jul

BRIDGEHAMPTON — Long Island is heavily dotted with good wineries and good restaurants. Getting to as many of them as possible takes a lot of time and driving.

Thus, the “40 wineries, 20 restaurants in one location” promise for the 2nd annual “Dan’s Taste of Two Forks” is a real attention-getter.

The event venue is Sayre Park, located at 154 Snake Hollow Road, the date Saturday, July 14. General admission tickets are $150 each to attend from 7:30 to 10 p.m., as well as receive a VIP Pass to artMRKT Hamptons, which is set for July 19-22, 2012 at the Bridgehampton Historical Society. VIP tickets are $225 which includes a 6:30 champagne reception, admission to the after party at Georgica, and a free cocktail there.

The “Taste of Two Forks” will be hosted by celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Chef-owner Gerry Hayden of North Fork Table & Inn will be honored for his dedication to the local community and commitment to native Long Island produce and ingredients.
